What cookies are
Cookies are small pieces of information a website can ask a browser to retain and return with later requests. Other technologies, including localStorage and sessionStorage, can store information in a browser without being cookies. Browser caching, clipboard data and downloaded files are different mechanisms.
What this site’s code uses
The supplied HTML, CSS and JavaScript do not set or read cookies, localStorage or sessionStorage. There are no advertising tags, analytics tools, embedded third-party videos or externally hosted fonts in these files. The mobile menu and scroll effects use temporary page state only.
| Feature | Behaviour | Persistence |
|---|---|---|
| Cookies | Not set by the supplied code | None from this code |
| Local and session storage | Not used | None from this code |
| Contact draft | Constructed in page memory | No intentional site persistence |
| Copy Draft | Writes to your clipboard after your action | Controlled by your device |
| Download .txt | Creates a local text file after your action | Until you delete the file |
Your browser may retain information
Browsers can cache site files, remember form values, restore tabs or offer autofill independently of our JavaScript. Use your browser settings to manage cached files, saved form data and site permissions. Clearing a page form does not clear your clipboard, downloaded files or browser-managed records.
Hosting and later additions
Hosting infrastructure may have its own security and delivery behaviour. Any consent-management service or other functionality added after these static files are prepared must be reviewed separately. If additional cookies or storage are introduced, this published notice and any necessary consent controls should identify their purposes, providers and retention periods.
External links
When you follow a link to an official weather service or another website, that website may use cookies under its own policy. The supplied pages do not embed those services or load their tracking code merely because a link appears here.
Managing your choices
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. The supplied reading pages and local draft composer do not depend on cookies. Clipboard permissions may affect automatic copying; the draft can still be selected and copied manually. JavaScript is needed for the composer and mobile menu, but not for reading the editorial content.
